Our Ultimate Goal with the Companies We Acquire is the Creation of Value.
Background
In 1989, Thomas M. Begel, the former Chairman and CEO of the The Pullman Company, founded Begel Industries, a private equity group dedicated to acquiring and operating industrial manufacturing companies. Through Mr. Begel's strong leadership, Begel Industries has successfully completed more than 30 transactions in which the firm divested, restructured, and built successful track records.
The professionals of Begel Industries take a 'hands on' approach to investing. With over 60 years of combined operating experience in manufacturing, the firm succeeds in evaluating and adding value to allow the company to reach its true potential.
"We generally acquire companies that are underperforming, analyze their needs, and bring the necessary skills to rebuild companies into successful operations," says Begel. "Our ultimate goal with the companies we acquire is the creation of value. In the process of rebuilding these companies, we are providing their customers with high quality and exceptional delivery of products and services."
